I’m Lauryn. I started weightlifting back in 2013, and gradually got serious about lifting heavy and doing it safely. I dove into learning: understanding proper form, breathing techniques, alignment, and how to protect the pelvic floor and connective tissue.

When I got pregnant in 2022, I was determined to continue strength training safely to maintain the progress I’d madeβ€”not just for me, but because I knew it would benefit my son too. I earned my personal training certification through the NASM while six months pregnant, had my son in the spring of 2023, and took a focused approach to postpartum recovery and rebuilding strength.

Seeing the impact of that strengthβ€”like my son lifting his head before we even left the hospitalβ€”was incredible. In November 2024, I became a Pre & Post Natal Corrective Exercise Specialist (PPCES) through Fit For Birth, and now I help other women move with confidence, protect their core and pelvic floor, and embrace heavy lifting at any stage of life or motherhood. The benefits are too big to ignore, and the rewards are even better.
